Located amongst the rolling hills of the stunning Sunshine Coast Hinterland, the Vivid Photography studio has established itself as the best destination professional portrait studio in Queensland.
With a custom 25×12 metre studio set amongst the picturesque rural countryside, we have the best of both worlds – stylish indoor sets which give your portraits that sense of occasion, or stunning exclusive outdoor locations only available to locals which offer some of the best scenic views anywhere in Australia.
We are located just 1.5 hrs from Brisbane, 30 minutes from the Sunshine Coast’s most beautiful beaches, and just minutes from breathtaking views of the Glasshouse Mountains to which we have exclusive access.
Meet Our Professional Photographers
Cath’s dream of being a professional photographer was realised early on in her career. After graduating from Queensland College of Art with a Bachelor of Photography, Cath started Vivid Photography with Rich over 17 years ago and has been telling stories through wonderful imagery ever since. Photographing both weddings and portraits, Cath has a level of experience spanning 22 years that few women can match in Australia. An international principal photographer, Cath is in demand from clients wanting a unobtrusive but assured professional photographer providing insightful moments as well as a creative eye. Cath is an AIPP Master of Photography and has won many awards at the AIPP State and National Awards, and is our most experienced professional photographer.
Manager and a principal photographer at Vivid, Rich has an extensive and creative background with a Masters of Arts in the Visual Arts and a career as an artist as well as a professional photographer. Specialising in wedding photography with 20 years experience, Rich is your go to man for creative and emotive images, ensuring you always have that stunning artwork for your wall. Rich is available for weddings both in Australia and abroad, having photographed weddings in New Zealand, the UK, and Ireland. An AIPP Master of Photography, Rich has won major awards in both Art and Photography, with numerous gold awards in both the AIPP Queensland and Australian Print Awards.
